An invitation to Islam to all mankind

Qur’anic Verses

#1.   Qur’an Surah 2 Al Baqara verse:185:

“Allah intends ease for you, and does not intend hardship for you, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.”

This verse explicitly states that Allah’s will is ease, not difficulty, in the context of fasting in Ramadān (but by implication the principle applies broadly).

#2.  Qur’an Surah 2 Al Baqara verse:286 :

“Allah does not burden any soul beyond what it can bear…”

#3.  Qur’an Surah Ash-Shar 94 verse:5:

“So, surely with hardship comes ease.”

A short but profound verse reminding us that even when things are hard, ease accompanies them.

#4.  Qur’an Surah Al Hajj 22 verse:78

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper. (78)”

 Hadiths of the Prophet

“Religion is very easy, and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights.”

 Key Take-aways
