Qur'anic Verses on Mercy (20–29)

 20. Surah Al Araf verse 49 

.أَهَـٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ  ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ ‎﴿الأعراف: ٤٩﴾‏

[Allah will say], "Are these the ones whom you [inhabitants of Hell] swore that Allah would never offer them mercy ? Enter Paradise, [O People of the Elevations]. No fear will there be concerning you, nor will you grieve.".

21. Surah Al Araf verse 52 

. وَلَقَدْ جِئْنَاهُم بِكِتَابٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ هُدًى وَرحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ  ‎﴿الأعراف: ٥٢﴾‏

And We had certainly brought them a Book which We detailed by knowledge - as guidance and mercy to a people who believe.

22. Surah Al Araf verse 56

وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ  اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ‎﴿الأعراف: ٥٦﴾‏

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.

Qur'anic Verses on Mercy (11–19)

11.Surah Al Nissa (4:83).

وَإِذَا جَاءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِّنَ الْأَمْنِ أَوِ الْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُوا بِهِ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ َلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ  لَاتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّيْطَانَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ‎﴿النساء: ٨٣﴾‏‎

And when there comes to them information about [public] security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it back to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, then the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy , you would have followed Satan, except for a few.12. Surah Al Nissa (4:96).

.مدَرَجَاتٍ مِّنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرَحْمَةً  ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ‎﴿النساء:٩٦﴾‏‏

Degrees [of high position] from Him and forgiveness and mercy . And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful .

Qur'anic Verses on Mercy (1–10)

 1.Surah Al Baqara (2:64)

       ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ  لَكُنتُم مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ‎﴿البقرة: ٦٤﴾‏

 Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy , you would have been among the losers.

 2.Surah Al Baqara (2:105)

.       مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ ‎﴿البقرة: ١٠٥﴾‏

Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
